The IMPCA sponsored conference programmes are well established and set to continue. IMPCA believes that with its track record of innovative programmes, industry experienced speakers and challenging themes it will remain in the forefront in its selected areas. A reduction in Conference Fees is also a Membership benefit.

In research/information matters the Association recognises that circumstances are constantly changing and different approaches become necessary. The Association will therefore continue with sponsored research but is willing also to co-operate with other similar organisations in pursuit of common objectives. This joint approach can be helpful in time saving and a better use of strengths but it will be undertaken only if the objectives of the Association are in no way compromised. Recently IMPCA has supported the Scientific studies carried out for FormaCare in the area of health and safety of the use formaldehyde.

Topics for sponsored research are approved by the Board before discussion with an appropriate University and normally are placed every 2-3 years. Membership includes a copy of the final study free of charge, as an additional benefit.
