IMPCA is a unique, independent Association that intends to represent ALL participants in the methanol industry. Contacts with other methanol related Associations are informal; Most others only represent a select portion of the methanol industry participants.

IMPCA has about 75 members consisting of a representative sample of methanol producers, consumers and service providers to the industry. Today most members operate globally.

IMPCA successfully organizes conferences in Europe, Asia and the Americas and participates in those of major consulting firms.

IMPCA has successfully established contacts with university technical faculties in Europe and Asia through student bursary schemes and intends to extend this program.
